hey guys this is creators tutorial and
in this video I'll teach you how to
download subtitles from YouTube videos
in 2018 so there are subtitles for every
single video on YouTube as YouTube
auto-generated subtitles for those
videos and 99% of the words spoken in
the video will be correct in the
subtitle that YouTube generates so I
will teach you how to download those
subtitles for videos on YouTube and
before we get started consider
subscribing if you're new here as we
make videos on YouTube growth or fast
YouTube success and tutorials just like
this one to help you improve your
content so people subscribe to and full
we get started can we hit 21 likes in
this video if you could that would be
awesome with that being said let's get
right into this video now the first
obvious step is go on to youtube calm
now once you're on YouTube calm you want
to find the video that you want to
download the subtitles from so in my
case I'm gonna select the random video
from here and I'm gonna select Derral
Eve's video right over here now I'm
going to select this video and I'm going
to pause the video and once I have
paused the video as you can see there's
some ads here but we want to click on
these three dots next to the share
button and once you have clicked on
these three dots you see report open
transcript add translations now you want
to press on the one which says open
transcript now that will open
transcripts of this video now once those
transcripts for a video is opened here
you can see which transcript you want so
now I can press on it and I can select
various transcript if Derral Eve's had
uploaded it or the specific video user
had uploaded it now there's only one
transcript in the option so I'm going to
only get one transcript from this video
so here I'm gonna sell this transcript
and then I'm wants to absolutely that
transcript the transcript will open up
now I want to open a notepad so I'm
gonna open a notepad over right here and
here is you're gonna see I have an own
notepad open now this is just a random
notepad and what you need to do now is
you want to class on this three dots
right over here and then there is a
toggle time span now what will it do is
it will give you the specific seconds
that Derral Eve's had talked in that
specific moment now if you want to copy
this timestamp
so all you need to do is do this
and then you want to press right click
on it and then you want to press on copy
and then you could copy it to your
notepad by just right clicking and
clicking on paste and as you can see you
have the translation copied with the
timestamp now what do you do if you
don't want the timestamp now if you
don't want the timestamp go on back to
your video and click on these three dots
and click on toggle timestamps and you
can see the timestamps are gone and you
can just scroll all the way up again and
then you can just do this again mm-hmm
and then you could just right click on
it and press copy and then you could
paste it to your notepad just like that
and now you have the translations
without the timestamp and hold up hold
up hold up and if you want to write
amazing scripts for your YouTube videos
watch this video right over there which
will teach you a simple and easy method
that will help you to write amazing
scripts well now you have successfully
downloaded subtitles for that video and
