STATEMENT OF FAITH
- The Bible: We believe the Bible, the King James A.V. 1611, is the inspired, preserved Word of God. (II Tim. 3:15-17)
- The Godhead: We believe in the one true and living God who has revealed Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matt. 28:19)
- Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. (Matt. 1:18-23) We believe Jesus Christ is both God and sinless man. (John 1:1,2,14) We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead, and ascended into Heaven. (I Cor. 15:1-4; Acts 1:9; Heb. 10:12) We believe Jesus died as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all men, and all who receive Him are justified on the grounds of his shed blood. ( I John 2:2; Rom. 3:24-25) We believe in the imminent personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to gather His church and meet Him in the air. (I Thess. 4:13-18)
- Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit enters, seals, and baptizes the believer the moment he is born into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Salvation: We believe the salvation of sinners is only by grace through faith, and not works (Eph. 2:8-9)
- Eternal Security: We believe in the eternal security of all born again believers. (John 3:36)
- The Church: We believe that the visible church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers. (I Cor. 1:1-3)
- The Ordinances: We believe the ordinances of the local church are Believer's Baptism (by immersion only) and the Lord's Supper. (Acts 8:36-39; I Cor. 11:26)
- Separation: We believe in Biblical separation from unbelievers, and all forms of heresy, and apostasy. (II Thess. 3:14)
- The Great Commission: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned the church to take the Gospel to the world. (Matt.28:18-20)
